#92 Aaron's Open House

Another event from last month was Aaron's graduation open house. He made a video of himself from photos over the years and did a great job. Nonstop entertainment! Among other gifts, I wrote him a letter filled with wise advice, with topics ranging from how not to fall down an elevator shaft to "don't be afraid to fail."

The food was really good too. Lori made focaccia bread and they put together these little sandwiches. As I got ready to leave, Megan pulled me aside to show me how many sandwiches they had left. She opened the refrigerator, pointed to various spots inside, and said, "Sandwiches, sandwiches, sandwiches, sandwiches, sandwiches. And more sandwiches in the laundry room." My parents and I ate lunch at their house the next day. The menu? Sandwiches. I took some home and they provided easy lunches for the week. Sandwiches!!

#91 Krista is 40!

Krista's actual birthday was last month and we threw her a surprise 40th birthday party. My job was to keep her out of the house until around 4 p.m. Luckily she took the bait and went shopping with me at the Edinburgh outlet mall. Julie helped Kenny set things up. I got a text while happily shopping that Julie was picking up dog poo in their giant yard. I definitely got the better end of that deal. I got Krista home on time (well, maybe a few minutes too soon, as she passed one friend in the car on the way home) and she was surprised. She didn't have a clue! It was a fun party!

Here is the birthday girl!

And here is a picture of the "girls"

#89 Talbot Street Art Fair

Julie and I always wonder why so many cool events are packed into one weekend! We get exhausted doing it all. Saturday morning we ventured to the Talbot Street Art Fair. Not only does it have lots of talented artists displaying their creations, it's FREE. I usually look for birthday/Christmas gifts and this time I was successful for one person on my list.

#88 Skinny Water

While enjoying ourselves at the Italian Festival, two women walked by with Skinny Water. I have never heard of it before, but feel that I would be an excellent spokesperson for this product. "Skinny Water - it worked for me!"

#87 Italian Festival

June is festival month! This time it was the Holy Rosary Italian Festival just south of downtown Indy. I've been going to this for several years. Great food and people watching. My friends and I usually hang out in the park across from the church and head back into the crowd to replenish our plates. We lucked out with no rain Friday. The gang had a fun night!

#86 Zachary Levi Part Deux

I guess I'm a little behind, but I just found out today that Zachary Levi (Post No. 27) is a Christian! I like him even more!
